​Hi! I'm Kristen...

I write picture books and poetry. My work as a teacher and library assistant have allowed me to share my love of books and reading. My Elementary Education degree is from Indiana University, and I still dream of Bloomington. I am a life-long reader and am on my way to raising one.

When not writing, teaching or enjoying time with my family, I am learning to cook, giving in to my mild addiction to online yard sales and trying my best to be healthy and kind to the Earth.
